From ground-motion record to response plot, without scripts

An SDOF seismic response study usually lives across custom scripts, raw records and spreadsheets. Re-running the analysis with another record or another period means touching code; explaining the result to a mixed team is harder still. That slows down both preliminary screening in design and the teaching of structural dynamics.

What the tool does

SDOF Seismic Analyzer works with real earthquake records, scales them by PGA and solves the dynamic response with Newmark-beta integration. Results — displacement, velocity and acceleration — appear as interactive, traceable charts and export to CSV for reports or post-processing. The whole workflow is explainable: you can see exactly which record, scaling and parameters produced each curve.

A typical example

Before building the full model, a design team wants to see how the response varies with period and damping across several representative earthquakes. In the app they change the parameters and compare the curves instantly. The same workflow works in the classroom: students watch the effect of each parameter on the response live.
