AI App

IFC BIM Analyst

A BIM auditing app that turns any IFC model into a project-manager-ready audit: deterministic quality checks, a maturity score, a GO/CAUTION/NO-GO verdict and a downloadable Excel dashboard.

The problem

BIM models arrive as large IFC files, and project managers rarely get a clear answer on whether a model is fit for analysis, coordination or construction.

What it does

Computes the audit deterministically in code — proxy ratio, geometry quality, georeferencing, predefined-type gaps — and generates a shareable Excel risk dashboard; the IFC is parsed locally and never uploaded.

Who it is for

For project managers, BIM coordinators and engineering offices that need an evidence-based verdict on IFC models for bridges, roads, rail, tunnels and buildings.

IFC model audits for project managers: a clear verdict before the model causes rework

The model arrived — but can you trust it?

Subcontractors and design offices deliver large IFC files, and the project manager rarely gets a straight answer to the only question that matters: is this model fit for analysis, coordination or construction? Proxy-heavy geometry, missing predefined types or a model that is not georeferenced tend to surface weeks later — as RFIs, clashes and rework.

What the tool does

IFC BIM Analyst computes the audit deterministically in code — proxy ratio, geometry quality, predefined-type gaps, profiles, georeferencing and a maturity score — and judges the model against its intended use with a clear GO / CAUTION / NO-GO verdict. It generates a shareable Excel dashboard with a colour-coded risk register, quality scorecard and element inventory, right in the browser. It supports IFC2x3, IFC4, IFC4x2 and IFC4.3 across bridges, roads, rail, tunnels and buildings. The IFC is parsed locally: only a few kilobytes of extracted counts ever reach the AI that writes the explanation — never the model itself.

A typical example

A project manager receives a bridge IFC from an external design office before a coordination meeting. They upload the model, get the verdict and the Excel dashboard, and walk into the meeting with specific, evidence-based requests instead of a vague feeling that the model looks off.
